This Spring Conference we will also be holding elections for all FMAA officer positions. HB376 Bill has passed effective June 1st but will not start until January 1st 2019. The bill authorizes the State Fire Marshal to regulate and issue pyrotechnic display operator licenses and pyrotechnic special effects operator licenses to persons who provide fireworks displays, pyrotechnics, and related special effects for an audience; to provide for the qualifications of applicants for licensure, license renewal, and licensure by reciprocity; to provide for the licensure of certain persons who have previously been certified as lead technicians by the State Fire Marshal
