Who we are and what we do....
The membership of the FMAA includes a large cross section of the fire service. You do not have to hold the Title of Fire Marshal, Inspector or Investigator. If you have an interest in Fire Prevention, Public Education, Public Information, Code Enforcement or Fire Investigation we are looking for you! Our purpose is to create an atmosphere that furthers your knowledge no matter how long you have been in the fire service.
FMAA MISSION STATEMENT
The Fire Marshals Association of Alabama is an organization of professionals dedicated to the preservation of life and property by advocating, promoting and providing leadership in the prevention of fires. Our main goal is to unite for the mutual benefit of those peoples with interest in the maintenance of codes and standards that reflect the consensus of our members. The FMAA is devoted to providing quality education and professional development opportunities through technology, certification and prevention programs.
